Thrive After School is a state-licensed, 3 STAR childcare/enrichment program.Through our partnership with JFK Elementary School and the Winooski School District, we seek to build a community where children can explore, learn, and grow during their after school hours while providing a safe place for children. This program is perfect for caring adults who support working families. Our daily structure provides children with opportunities to expand on the learning that takes place during the school day and allows them to explore and grow through play-based, hands-on learning. We have opportunities for outside time and other gross-motor play, imaginative play, STEM learning, art, literacy, skill-building activities, and exploring hobbies and interests. We also use this time in our program community to guide children’s social development with the language of Social Thinking as used during the school day, allowing children to practice what they have been learning socially in their classrooms.Click here to download the Thrive After School enrollment form.We accept Vermont Childcare Subsidy to cover the cost of Thrive.
